I have used Pond's Cold Cream Cleanser since High School. My Mom has used it since High School in the 60s. My Grandma has used it since High School in the early 1940s and my Grandpa used Pond's since the 1950s. I noticed my last jar was different..new graphics, wording and I noticed the ingredients did not match my last few jars. OMG, why Pond's?! The new formula burned my skin, did not make my face look or feel as clean and dewy! It now leaves my face looking dry, irritated and upset. Just how I feel now...dry, irritated and upset. WHY change a formula that has been so great for decades and decades?!

As I get older, my skin has gotten these weird dry patches. I've been using pond's since I was a little girl watching my grandmother. The formula used to be creamier, feel cooler going on, and smelled better- but it's still pretty good. I have a lot of different skin concerns and this is one of few things that doesn't aggravate my skin at all. Nothing removes makeup better either-especially on the eyes. The instructions used to say remove with a tissue- which is what I still do, usually. I do suggest avoiding any part of your skin which is prone to breakouts.

My mother used Ponds cleansing cream and told me too. When she died at 94 years, she had fewer wrinkles than I have at age 82 and I have very few. Strangers frequently tell me what great skin I have and people who know say I do not look my age. I did not even use a moisturizer until I was in late 30's.

The cold cream cleanser does not remove my makeup as effectively as the previous wonderful formulation of cold cream. I don't care for the thinner consistency or scent of the new product. The cold cream formula was more gentle. My eyes itch after using the cleanser product. I am greatful that I still have a jar of the cold cream left. I would like to purchase more of it but I regretably I am only seeing the cold cream cleanser in the store and on-line. I will switching to a different product after using it for so many years, as will my daughter.

All the women in our family have faithfully used Ponds until the formula change. It wasn't the Ponds Cold Cream we loved . The first problem was the fragrance the familiar nice scent gone replaced to what seems to be no scent. The consistency of the cream had no resemblance of what cold cream has always been known as cold cream. It now is like other creams on the market rather being the product generations have associated a pure cold cream.
