The Gazebo is installed on my deck. It had to be adjusted, as the frame would not allow the door from my kitchen to open. We are in the process of adding blocks on the four corners to raise the frame to allow this to become a reality. In the meantime we are using the sliding patio door from the dining room to access the Gazebo. It would be great if the Gazebo had been waterproof not just water resistant. We have a cover for the table and chair set placed in the Gazebo, but it is very heavy and awkward to get on in a hurry.
It was exactly as advertised. It's lightweight and easy to set up. My son and I had it completed is about ten minutes. It's not as luxurious as the more permanent one we used to have with shelves in the corner and a hook in the center so I was able to install a ceiling fan. But it does have the advantage of being more portable. It will also be able to be taken down and stored during the winter months, so I expect it to last more than a couple of years. Most of the more permanent gazebos are manufactured by some company which goes out of business after a couple of years so you are unable to get a replacement canopy. If you choose to go the more permanent gazebo, I would recommend that you go ahead and buy a replacement canopy at the same time you purchase the original unit.
I recently purchased this gazebo and for the most part happy with it. I wish it had sidewalls to keep rain and heavy winds out. Unfortunately a storm came around before we could put cement screws in and blew over.. it was not ripped ect..so it made it through first storm. Yeh... so am looking into purchasing sidewalls for it now. Anyone with any suggestions please let me know. Also i wish it had a way to pin down the netting as the winds blow around right much but after sidewalls are put on i am hoping this won't be a problem. But overall for the money a good product. An it took several of us to get up. If you are short you need some tall friends with ladders.. haha
I know it states it holds water but this was horrible. You would think it would run off the side but it didn't, it stayed at the bottom of the gazebo until one side buckled bending it and it collapsing. I am so disappointed. This was within 2 weeks. I could not believe it. Someone could have been hurt. Everything else was great but if it only lasts two weeks it isn't worth it. It wasn't windy or anything, just raining and it wouldn't drain off. I am going to ask for a refund.
This Gazebo was not anything I thought it would be. The inside frame bent trying to set it up. I've seen better constructed pieces from the $99 pop up tents
