Poulan Pro 25cc 2-Cycle Straight Shaft Gas Trimmer

Product appeared to be in perfect condition but upon 1st use found spark plug was broke causing rough running and eventially stopped.

Went with the Poulan for the brand quality and warranty. Am sure I won't be disappointed. Assembled easily.

We had bought our first house, and were obviously short on cash for 'stuff'. I knew better than to buy cheap tools, but needed to get through a summer or two. I should have followed my own advice, that I am too poor to buy cheap junk. After one year, garage kept mind you, this thing looks like if is 10 years old, as far as seals, fuel lines, etc. Bogs down badly during use. Overheats and smokes if used for more than 15 minutes. It finally quit. BTW, I take good care of my stuff, clean out carbs and drain fuel every spring, so engine does not gum up. Use compressor to blow out debris after nearly every use of my power tools. (I like stuff to last). This had no chance. Opened up the engine to see if I could repair, and its just junk, poor quality parts all around. If you can possibly afford it, save up and get a good Stihl ,Husky, or quality brand of your choice. Will save you money in the long run, since buying 3 junky trimmers is far more expensive than buying 1 quality one.

Bought this for my husband for Father's day so it is very new. So far he really likes it though. I would give it a 5 except for the fact that it doesn't come with a strap. Other reviewers state that it is heavy, but I figure that is to be expected. My husband is already looking at the attachments.

Item ran through a half a spool of cord then started to bog down. Called company within two weeks of purchase and they told me to take it to an area service center. I waited two weeks to take it in. It took two and half weeks to service and then they told me a carburetor adjustment would not be covered under warranty. Adjustments are not covered after 30 days even though I called the company within two weeks. Make sure if you purchase this product you use it quickly to determine if it need adjustments. Product is made so the consumer can not adjust carburetor. Not happy will not buy Poulan again.
