Power Wheels Ford Mustang Boss 302

I recently bought a Mustang power wheel for my Granddaughter. They bought there first home and this was my my Granddaughters first yard of her own and I bought her a power wheel as her personal housewarming gift. And she had it in 4 days delivered from UPS. She's having a blast with it now.

The reason I bought this car was for the color. My grand daughter is 3 and was very specific about wanting a "blue race car". Originally I was looking for a car that also had remote control but a neighbor convinced me that I didn't need that and that the kids learn to steer very quickly. I have to agree with her. The problem(s) I found with this car are that the wheels have no traction at all. I have to follow her around the yard and give her a push to get her going. Another problem is that the rear of the car needs more weight to help with the traction. One other issue is the steering radius. The steering wheel doesn't turn fully so the turning radius is huge. I watched videos of modifications and am going to try the BMX tires over the plastic wheels and I also saw a video on how to improve the steering and have corrected that. Hopefully when I add the rubber tires over the plastic wheels things will improve.

My son LOVES his new power wheels car. It has neat features like a working radio, horn sounds, and a smooth ride. The only downfall is the assembly for the adults. It took about 2 hours to put it all together. We were hoping that it came mostly assembled, not the case. But overall a great purchase.

I bought this car for my Son,s birthday . Brought home. And installed which was not hard. But after installed my son drive it with too much excitement . But car start acting crazy. Was so high rpm. Before it move wheels were turning so fact . And after rolling when he stop . Tire skid like 2 feet. Real surprise was next day when slow gear and reverse stop working . The only thing was working hight speed gear . Got so disappointed . And returned it.

My complaints are very small but for the price of the product shouldn't be an issue. The pre-placed stickers were not placed entirely on the product. Large bubbles so know the stickers won't be staying on long. Also, the box had holes all over it thus scratches on the fenders/bumpers, etc. With the birthday 2 days away couldn't send it back so dealt with it.
