I do feel like the programmable buttons are kind of in the way and find myself accidentally pushing them. My nine-year-old is also able to use this without any challenge.

We love the fact that it's wireless too because it gives you so much mobility and you can get super comfortable while playing without the wires and cords. It's actually quite impressive that she was all the way at the end of the house and the remote was still working. Would make a great gift for any Mario lover or someone with a Switch. Definitely recommend. Very responsive to touch and very colorful
