PR Snuggle Exhilarations Liquid Fabric Softener, Blue Iris & Ocean Breeze, 32 Ounce, 37 Loads

Snuggle WAS one of my favorite fabric softeners for years, not anymore. Lavender & Vanilla Orchid smells ok in the bottle & ok on wet clothes fresh out of the washer. However, once clothes are coming out of the dryer, they have a horrible chemical odor, like BUG SPRAY! The point of a fabric softener or “conditioner” is to soften. My laundry felt scratchier after using this product. Snuggle seems to be more concerned about fragrance than their product actually doing it's job. Who needs their clothes smelling for 100 days?! If you want that more scent, buy a scent booster. Snuggle had a good thing going but ruined it with change. Time to find a softener that softens clothes without smelling like a cocktail of toxic fragrances!

Would have given it zero stars if possible….The new scent in this if terrible. It used to have a woody or spicy component (possibly a musk) but not only is that gone, but it is no longer a mild floral scent. This formulation is overwhelming, nauseating, and long lasting (more than a week). I actually threw out nearly an entire 96 ounce container after trying it on a few loads over a couple weeks—at my usual 1/2 of what is recommended. It's so strong and bad that one of my students, socially distanced and on the other side of a giant plexi sneeze guard, asked my why he could smell “apples” or fruit in my office! Beware if you are looking for the old formulation, this one isn't even remotely the same scent. So sad as I moved to this many years ago after the “blue” snuggle was reformulated. No more Snuggle brand for us.

I absolutely hate the new scent, it smells like nasty overly sweet, SUPER artificial candy. I'm so disappointed that they no longer use the old formula. Never will I be buying this again, unless they bring back the old scent.

I have used the same softener for 5+ years, bought the bottle of newly changed packaging. I have have a contact allergy since using this new bottle. Miserably uncool snuggle!

Why did Snuggle ruin a good thing?? The new scent (with the SAME name?) is TERRIBLE. Please bring back the original formula. I will not use the new one.
