These are amazing as a breakfast alternative. In the frenzied before school rush it can be hard to get teenagers to eat breakfast so I picked up a box of Premier Choc Protein Shakes and the kids love them PLUS they reported it held them over until lunch and that's MOST IMPRESSIVE considering two of them have P.E. in the morning!

I was introduced to premier protein shakes a few years ago when I had radiation treatments that made it difficult for me to swallow and my appetite was poor. I started with these shakes and haven't stopped drinking them because I love the taste unlike the metallic taste that other supplemental drinks leave.

Premier Protein is much inferior to similar products. The taste and consistency is almost pure water. I would recommend Carnation, Boost, Ensure or the Member's Mark shakes instead. I couldn't make it past three sips of Premier Protein and even tried two different bottles in the package to see if the first one was a fluke. I ended up giving away the rest of my box because it was so disgusting.
