Perhaps if the you had some control of the spray valve you would have an easer time getting the lubricant where you want it , how much you wanted rather than a sudden BLAST, other products are easer to work with

Garage Door Repairman left a can of Garage Door Lubricant for me. It works perfectly. I need to use a silicone lubricant for another piece of equipment, but it has to be one that is safe for plastic (it didn't say which type of plastic). Is GDL safe for plastic, or should I get one of your other products?
