The product performs beautifully. My ONLY complaint is the lack of clear assembly directions. I was initially alarmed when I learned I was suppose to pour the oil in the same compartment as the implement. The product has a large capacity-great for entertaining! J. Lofton

Very happy with my purchase. I only ever had a small quart size deep fryer…..so I love the size/capacity of it. The double baskets makes cooking for a family of 4 a lot easier and faster with the ability to cook different foods simultaneously. Heating time does take a little longer but I figured it would since it holds little over a gallon of oil. I gave it 4 stars for “features” because I do wish it would've came with one large single basket as well and I wish it had a built in timer. But for the price….I'm overall very happy with my purchase.

What a great little home fryer! Makes great fried chicken, hash brown patties, bloomin' onions, etc. and to be completely honest, I have to get use to the temp and time cooking food of this fryer. It heat-up to temp (350 degrees) in only 10 minutes and I suggest you buy a hot oil thermometer, because it's much better than a Dutch Oven or pot for deep frying. It won't take the same time as you're used to and you and may need to cook at a slight lower temp than usually do.

It's perfect size, quality, style, space saving, new excellent condition, right timer and temperature knobs! I haven't used yet, purchased to just use the deep fryer lid on my old deep fryer till it is of no use then i will use the presto deep fryer when needed! A family member had an fire incident on my old deep fryer lid by putting a rag that accidently touched the bottom of the oven burner then set it on the lid luckily and it started burning, luckily just burnt the plastic part of the lid and just smoked the apartment, no real issues! I mentioned to get out important information that a deep fryer overall needs to be metal or stainless steel except basket handles! I got this one out of best interest even if it has a plastic cover over metal/stainless steel lid! I do not use the lid to cover while cooking. only to cover oil after use! I am glad i got this item!

Some splatter, but nothing out of ordinary, when lid is off. Be sure to keep those ice crystals to a minimum! Doesn't really heat up the kitchen much in small apartment. I only wish it had a larger basket, instead of the 2 smaller ones to use at one time, but im sure i can find something aftermarket. And for the sale price....I don't think you can beat this fryer, if this size is what you're looking for, then my grandmother says she highly recommends this appliance!!! (5 star review she says!) The 2 photos I included are to show how space saving the design is--thats a full size microwave sitting next to the fryer, and it's smaller than the microwave, but with good capacity. And thats on a tiny apartment kitchen counter with what we'll call a "minimalist" design when ut comes to any kitchen space at all.
