Use TVP to substitute for half the bulgur in tabbouleh (try the recipe on the Bob's Red Mill Bulgur bag - it's great!). The TVP and the bulgur both reconstitute in hot water at the same ratio, and I add diced Persian cucumber and lots more chopped mint. Thanks, Bob's Red Mill!

An essential vegan/vegetarian pantry staple. Tacos, veggie burgers, and chili are staples in my house. In addition to loving the ever so versatile TVP, I also use it to make my 3 dogs' food (in my Instant Pot, using Compassion Circle supplements and recipes), so I go through A LOT. I really appreciate the bulk option. Even with the hefty shipping charge, it's more affordable than anywhere else, where I'm buying 3 packages at a time every month or so.

I love your TVP and all the Bob's Red Mill products. I ordered direct from you're web site and the prices are affordable. I love it. This is so versatile for chili, spaghitti sauce, BBQ's and pizza sauce. What a great way to get out necessary protein without all the chemicals and additives that they put in other brand soy processed foods.

Since we do not eat meat or dairy in our household I use TVP and rehydrate with San Marzano tomatoes and seasoning depending on what flavor notes I want (taco, spicy Italian sausage crumbles etc...). This is not something that we eat often but it does come in very handy as a meat substitute and picks up the flavor nicely.

We like this TVP much better than the products found in the freezer section of the grocery store that are full of artificial colors and ingredients, along with too much salt. I've used TVP for decades, and Bob's is the best tasting yet for chili, tacos and stuffed peppers. On the other hand, if you are trying to make do with smaller amounts of meat, Bob's TVP can be a great addition to make a little go a long way.
