I haven't had any issues with this product picking up crumbs. My one year always drops his food on the floor. As long as it's not wet this gets the job done. My 3 year can also help in the kitchen and doesn't have to worry about cords.I use this daily for cleaning and then use the vacuum once a week to get the corners and anything else that may have been missed.

Why do you not make the product for small children???? My grandchildren want to use mine all the time but the handle is to long and they have a hard time. We use our Swiffer many times a day and I love it!!! Now I just need one for ages 2 and up PLEASE PLEASE CONSIDER THIS!!!! I am very disappointed in the Swiffer sweep and trap product. Bought it to replace the original Swiffer after the handle broke, now I wish I'd just bought the same one again. It doesn't trap near as much as I expected and it's bulkier size doesn't fit under some furniture like the old one did. hair and lint get caught around the wheel that should sweep up the small pieces and has to be dug out. It does pick up some of the crumbs, but my old method of using the swiffer and then picking up the left overs with the hand vac works much better!! Having used Swiffer products before, I purchased this item with great anticipation. Have used the Sweep & Trap twice and will no longer use this product. It is cumbersome, noisy and using it for the last time, the brackets to hold the dusters have popped out. Trash pick up is Thursday and this product will be put out. I do plan to purchase another regular Swiffer sweeper which I have used and enjoyed for both dry and wet sweeping. Just wanted you to know of my experience with your produce. Thank you. You must walk forward, turn, then walk forward again to get the job done. Like using a lawnmower, do not pull backwards. It will not pick up if it is rotating around as advertised. The dry cloth does a good job of picking up dirt. I will stick to my original swiffer wet and dry mop.
