The item's price is the same at every retailer. Walmart was the most convenient option. With a history of positive experiences m, I choose to purchase through Walmart.
I have not had a single problem. I did the free Walmart pick. My husband put it together for me. I do not use the app that it comes with it and it still works great for me.
Showed up completely shattered had to take it back and get a full refund. Also the shipping company was rude as could be.
I had an old ProForm treadmill that I bought used 15 years ago so who knows how old it really was. It only recently began to have issues with the incline motor. It was a workhorse and I felt bad dropping it off at the disposal center as it had carried me many hundreds of miles since I got it. Needless to say, I was set on getting another ProForm. I saw this model on the Walmart.com site and was surprised at the price and the offer for same day delivery. In Hawaii, we rarely get same day delivery on anything. I was skeptical, but made the purchase, thinking I would get a notification that the delivery would be delayed or that there was an error in the cart, but lo and behold, it arrived later that evening as promised. The box is large and very heavy. Heavy means sturdy, so I like that. Assembly was pretty straight forward. Operationally, it's great. Smooth and very quiet compared to my old friend. I haven't used the iFIT. I may, since there is a 30 day trial, but I have my TV set up right in front and with my bluetooth earbuds, I'm all set. There are a few things that could be better--my opinion only. I miss the led racetrack oval on my old machine that allowed me to keep track of laps as I exercised. Lifting the metal frame portion of the treadmill to fold could be a challenge for some at 45lbs of lift needed. Some type of shock assisted system would have been nice to make folding easier. I place carpet sliding disks under the 2 front supports and under the 2 wheels, which when folded allows me to slide it back into a corner between uses rather than tilt it and use the wheels. Overall, I am very happy. Hoping to get another 15 years out of this one.
I purchased a Pro-Form Carbon TL treadmill approx. 5 years ago and it worked great until recently when it started malfunctioning. It was going to cost $200 to replace the computer's motherboard and I decided to dispose of it instead of paying that much in hopes that it would fix the problem. I think it originally cost about $700. I was excited to find the same model (at least what I thought was the same) on sale for $525 on Walmart's website with “free shipping.” I ordered it and waited. The next day it was delivered to my house. This box is very large and I was pleasantly surprised it was delivered so quick. I was excited to use it but was anxious about fully assembling it. I opened it up and started assembling it. I will said that the instructions were great. Very clear once you figured out where the pieces fit. The screws were carefully marked and it took me about an hour by myself to assemble it. I was so excited to use a treadmill in my house again since I had been walking out in the cold for a couple of weeks. I got all the way to the last piece and found it was missing! Not a huge deal because it was a small plastic piece that covered a wire on the bottom that wasn't absolutely necessary in my opinion. Once I was finished I realized that the Pro-Form Carbon TL I purchased five years ago was much bigger than the Pro-Form Carbon TL that I just assembled. The walking path was much narrower. The hand rails were narrower, which makes it harder to walk on without constantly hitting your hands while walking. Also, the screen area is much smaller. I used to put my iPad on the screen ledge to watch videos and could still see the time on the screen. Not with the new one! The iPad completely covers the screen and I have to set a timer to know how long I've been walking. My goals of owning a treadmill are pretty basic. I want one that turns on and I'm able to change the speed and see the time. All the fancy programs mean nothing to me. So this treadmill will do what I need it to. Just a little disappointed that the Pro-Form Carbon TL model wasn't the same size with this new one. The manufacturer should change the model to something else so the buyers know it's not the same size.
