But a baby is nothing but one comic complication after another! When an attractive single mom (Leslie Caron) finds out the pediatrician (Bob Cummings) she's sizing up for the alter hates kids, she leaves the baby in Harley's care - and that sparks a riotous, romantic free-for-all! Director Arthur Hiller ("The In Laws", "See No Evil, Hear No Evil") keeps events and gags zinging along in this laughfest described by "Time" as "an amiable, entertaining fiction..." Beatty, in his first light comedy role, shows an unexpected flair for foolishness.
