I've been using this pump for 14 weeks now. I gotta admit I wanted more flexibility to move around and spent a lot of money buying a wireless “seamless” pump. I wasted my money. Only the Pump in Style Medela Pump can actually empty my breasts. I exclusively pump since my baby was born very small and didn't have a strong enough latch.

I was excited to get this pump through insurance, but it quickly stopped work after a few months. This is my third baby and I was regularly getting 6-8 ounces per pumping. Something switched inside of it and instead a good sucking now it vibrates. I have to turn it to the highest volume and still struggle to get 3 or so ounces. This will not help sustain my supply or make enough to keep my baby fed while I am working. I have never had bad luck with a Medela product. I am just hoping my old one from 2015 will work again. Thankfully, I know what my body is capable of, and know that with a different pump I will be able to make enough milk for my son.  If I was a first time mom I would be incredibly disappointed and probably give up and switch to formula.

I got this pump through my insurance. So glad I still have my old Medela Pump in Style Advanced, because this new pump is horrible. I get WAY less milk and you have to buy all new parts if you want to have an extra set. Seriously, listen to the reviews and research a different pump.

I highly recommend NOT purchasing this pump. I had the Medela advanced with my first son which I loved. When I had my second son in January the port to the advanced that the tubes go in broke so I used insurance to get this pump. Until this point I have LOVED all things Medela. I recommended their products to absolutely everyone. I was so excited for this new pump. I was seriously disappointed. The suction is good sometimes other times it's not. I get half as much milk as I did with the advanced. I also will pump for 30 minute sessions and get less than 2 ounces and will still feel super full. Also, whatever you do, do not bend over or try to puck something up you will have milk spilled everywhere. Oh and this until also shuts off randomly. Yes—I have tried different breast pump shields. I have also replaced tubing and flanges as well. Nothing has helped.

Honestly, I didn't pick this pump out - it's just what the insurance sent. But I really love it. The lactation consultant I talked to on several occasions highly recommended it. The new shields are fantastic. I got purchased a different size to get the best fit. Looking at a lot of bad reviews many of those problems could have been solved by getting the right size flange. I find it to be quick, efficient, easy to set up and clean.
