PUR AdvancedPlus Faucet Water Filter - Chrome FM-9400B

When I moved to Florida I was shocked at how bad the water tasted. I could even sort of smell it. It's just awful and not drinkable. After a ton of research and price comparisons I decided to go with this and really happy I did. It installed so easily and quickly and my water tastes so good! It has a little black knob you turn to use it and you can turn it off for when you don't need your water filtered. Not the cheapest and the filters are kind of pricey as well but for me this is so worth every penny. The filters do last a good 6 months for me. This is nice looking on your faucet but can be cumbersome and in the way at times but you get used to it.

Outlook is good. It's easier to install and water comes out from the filter is smooth. The horizontal design is better & more convenient than the upright one.

I bought this product about 6 months back. Every single time I put it on the faucet with a new filter the useless thing doesn't stop leaking. The water comes out of this unit and sprinkles all over the place. Every time after an hour of effort the leak stops, but this time it is going on. Does this company even have its quality check department. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE, ITS NOT WORTH 40$.

I gave it a fair rating because it does filter the water and stays on the faucet for a few months. After a few months it began to leak where the filter attaches to the faucet. The problem is with the attachment/adapter. I called PUR and they told me to return it for exchange. The new one leaks also. When I say "leak" I mean it sprays out 2 feet of water like a water sprinkler.
