Cost keep rising. Lately certain cans seem off. What would normally be my cats favorite, she barely touches in o e can, then next time she l9ves it. It seems some cans are bad or something is wrong. We pay a lot of money just to have to throw out half of some of the cans.

I feed it to the catch and release colony that eats on my porch. I divide each can into 4ths. They really appreciate it and it helps them gain some weight.

Box was obviously damaged with external mold clearly visible. Some cat food cans had been ruptured days ago and smelled strongly of decomposition even through the double-plastic bag that was used for delivery. Its hard to believe no one had the sense to remove this from circulation but rather ship it to the buyer. Can't really blame the delivery driver, but I'm certain it smelled badly in his car on the way over here even with windows open. What could be worse you ask? Well, the online return process requires me to ship back the damaged box via Fedex, decomposition and all. There is no option to call or explain further, just ship it back. Even the 800 number, which I had to google because it isn't posted on the site, tries to steer you to this option. Whatever Walmart paid for AI, it was too much. Please hire competent workers.

Good bang for the buck! My kitty's pretty finicky, so I'll often have to open up one can and feed her some of that a couple of times, then open another and feed her some of that a couple of times, then switch back to the first can (storing them properly sealed in the 'fridge, of course!). Once in a while she'll get flat sick of a particular flavor, so I'll either hold the unopened cans back for a week and try again, or feed those to the local stray kitties. If you have chickens, keep this away from them! They love it! Of course, that also makes this a good choice for getting medicine down them, should they need it. If you ever accidentally wind up tasting some of this (don't ask. I'd hardly slept that night and it was first thing in the morning. Let's just say my kitty wound up with coffee creamer in her dish. You can guess where the cat food wound up from there! o.o ), you'll find that it has a nasty aftertaste like many dog foods do (I had dogs from the time I was a baby. I only tried that once LOL!). I don't know which of the ingredients does this, but I'm guessing all of 'em are like that. Nevertheless, my kitty's eaten this in addition to her kibble since before she was full grown. She's about 9 years old now and has always had a shiny coat, bright eyes and plenty of pep in her step! As for money well-spent, the pate is more bang for the buck than the other kinds if your kitty will eat it. Despite the fact that all the cans are the same size, the non-pate kinds have a lot of gravy, which kitties love, but doesn't fill their bellies as well, so you'll wind up spending more. Overall, I like this cat food (so long as it doesn't wind up in my coffee! ICK! Oooof! Hahahaha!), have bought it for years and, so long as they don't do something squirrely to the recipe that makes my kitty not like it, I'll continue to buy it.

My picky cats started off loving this wet food, but recently have decided that they like another brand better (thanks to a neighbor). I'm giving it 4 stars only because my cats have found something a little tastier! Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars.
