Pyrex Storage Plus Set with Plastic Lids, 12 Piece

I really like the product because they are easy to store, great for leftovers for their sealing ability, great to actually see the stored food when in the fridge, very easy to clean, and they do not stain like plastic. They can also be used for decorative ideas because they look nice on the counters, too. Recommend buying - a big YES

Luv using glass more and more and getting away from plastic in the microwave. disappointed with the lids. some are so snug i have quite a time trying to pry them off-today i had soup and not a good thing if you can't get the lid off! why not add a 'lip' to hold on to? if you have arthritis in your hands skip this one.

From the box and description, the actual capacity of this set doesn't appear to be particularly small...BUT each piece almost seems lilliputian. Except for the loaf dish. That seems to be normal sized. All of the other containers are MUCH smaller than they appear. So check the volume/capacity before making this purchase. I mean these are Pyrex, so the quality/durability is there. But unless you need to store 7 baby carrots at a time, I cannot recommend this item.

I really like the variety of sizes. Bowls are sturdy glass. Nice to be able to see what is inside. I prefer these to plastic--no BPA, no melting, no discoloring etc. Wish there were other color lids besides bright red, but I can live with it. Only complaint is that the rectangle lids are a little loose, and the smallest round lids are way too tight (can barely get them on).

This is my third set of varying sized storage containers by Pyrex. I use mine from freezer to microwave (I do defrost a bit first) and even serve in them. Easy to wash in the dishwasher and the lids don't warp if you wash them on the top shelf. Plus I don't have to worry about toxins leaching from plastics. I wish they'd come out with multiples of the individual sizes, as I really like this product.
