Quality Craft Traditional 26" Electric F

Metal frame around the heating element was bent and scratched in 2 places and can be seen from the front. We didn't know it when assembling, because it is the last piece that is put in. We had spent an hour assembling so didn't want to take it back apart and re-pack it. Other than that, it is very nice.

Love this fireplace heater! It was easy to assemble, cozy for a small apartment and a delight to own. I also love the option of flame only. Great ambiance. Only downfall was the pre-drilled hole on the lower part of the heater did not match up to the ones on the frame.

We are living in a daylight basement with very little light. A big kitchen afforded us the room to have a fireplace so this stove was a perfect heater. My brother (66) was able to assemble the unit in 2 hours with 2 coffee breaks, one cig break and me supervising (all slowing his progress). The heat is adjustable and can be turned off with the light/flames staying on. The flames are AMAZING! We have a Ngas stove on the other end of the house and this stove's flames are just as intoxicating to watch. Highly recommend this stove if you have a kitchen that Martha S would never visit!! HAPPY...HAPPY....HAPPY!

It took approx two hours to assemble. The mantel and surround is nice, but the flame effect was chintzy at best. One 'log' and an orange glow at the bottom. Not at all realistic or pretty. I have a $40 one in my bedroom that is much more attractive. I would not recommend. I called the local walmart and returned product. They were very helpful with return.

This was really a great buy, but you have to be really careful when you attach the fireplace grid to the frame as we had a screw go through the front panel and the touch up stain does not match, if you need to touch up your best bet would be paste shoe polish.. med brown. other than that it was really a good deal compared to all the other stores out there.
