Arrived damaged. Cork board is thin also. Returned.
I was in the market for a Cork Board like the one I had in high school (1976) and I found one!!! The Board is strong, but not heavy, and easy to put up!! I can't recommend this Board higher. I'm glad I purchased the Quartet Cork Bulletin Board.
Cheap materials, cheap assembly. The actual cork must be 1/16", with a thin foam-board backing. I immediately had to purchase some 1/4" cork to staple to the front of the bulletin board, so there was something for the push pin to push into. I also had to reinforce the corners, as they were loose.
Comes with everything needed to hang but easier just to hang with screws along the frame. Works for what I wanted
Layer of cork is very thin. Worse, when the cellophane wrapping was removed, there was a terrible odor, like horse manure. We have the bulletin board near an open window and hope the smell will disappear.
