QUICKBOOKS ONLINE ESSENTIALS 2018 WAL

I like QuickBooks except: It often gets “hung” when I make multiple entries for a new client in a deposit. It also gets hung when I save a new deposit and then that deposit doesn't show up until I sign out and sign back in. Also I struggle to find my accounts. I think you have two meanings for accounts and so when I try to find a category ( I. E. Telephone: internet) quick books only brings up bank account names that I have or major banking categories. Perhaps I don't know how to search… but I have never been able to find the answer in “help.”

Intuit has done very well with advances and strides to make bookkeeping and accounting simple for novices and efficient for veterans alike. As a novice, I still have trouble with a few concepts and terminology, but I was able to hit the ground running on day 1 when using both the desktop/web app alongside the phone app. This is really a no brainer and it will pay for it's value almost immediately.

This is not your desktop QuickBooks. The format is completely different and the learning curve is steep. We did our own bookkeeping with QuickBooks for 20 years but have had to hire someone to do it for us now. The set up and conversion to online is frustrating. Love the original QuickBooks; would not purchase the online version again.

It works, but it's expensive for what I use it for. I just do payroll for 1 person and about 30 invoices per month. I also hate that they change things around to try to get you to use their online bill pay. Paying my Payroll taxes has been ok- for some reason has been overcalculating them so I always pay too much.

I really only use it for our business b/c our accountant wants live access to our books and this was his choice. I find it difficult to manage, not very robust and not very intuitive overall relative to our desktop version that we had used prior to switching to online. I think its very over priced for what we get.
