QUICKBOOKS ONLINE PLUS 2018 (Email Delivery)

I love that Quickbooks Online makes running the accounting and bookkeeping side of our nonprofit so easy. It easily syncs with our bank to pull in transactions each day. It syncs with our database program Kindful so that any changes made in either program automatically syncs to the other. It syncs with our cc processing program seamlessly. It is easy to pay bills and enter in donations, pull reports, see how the organization is doing with our Profit and Loss statement, etc. It is very easy to use and to classify expenses and donations. I highly recommend it to any business either nonprofit or for profit.

I don't like accounting and it's the last thing that I want to do. I used your product years ago and it was a headache. The online version is SO much easier to use and to work with. Although I don't like the accounting part of having a business I am grateful for a program that imports my information which saves me lots of time. I'm learning to love the process and I'm excited to have the initial input being over so that maintenance will be all I'll need to do.

I love that the bank feed and American Express feed is automatically download. This saves me so much time compared to the desktop version I was using. I feel I am able to stay ahead of our accounts. The tech support has been great since I am still learning how to use the program.

QB has some of the most powerful features - but unless you are a bookkeeper, don't expect to be able to use it to run your business. The program has never been designed for business people and it is fundamentally a bookkeeping system. Business owners do not think like bookkeepers and the custom reports and user interfaces can't hide that it is a bookkeeping system and not a business management tool. The speed of each query and click is agonizingly slow, the speed that it takes to refresh each screen is agonizingly slow, the integration to banks, credit cards, and email-submitted receipts is great. The payroll system helps make life easier - and they do a great job with tax payments and multi-state employees. But the core program needs to be redesigned from the ground up for people who run businesses.

I use QB to send invoices. It's not very user friendly for anything else. I am not an accountant. I can not afford to hire an accountant so i have QB to hopefully keep track of my expenses and keep track of my check book and savings. right now it is doing none of these things well. My checkbook balance is way off and i can not fix it because i can not undo a transaction when it was set up so it has carried the wrong balance and now has compounded the balance where the amount is no longer verifiable in my thinking. so i am paying a monthly fee for information that is useless to me. other than invoicing it is not worth the money i am paying monthly for the service.
