The quip kids sonic battery toothbrush is a minimalist but very effective option for your kids dental hygiene needs. The first thing we noticed after receiving this item was its design. It is clear that the folks at quip had both kids and parents in mind when they designed this sleek but easy-to-use toothbrush. This toothbrush is well-made, easy to operate, and leaves kids with brighter smiles. Our three-year-old enjoyed the novelty of its sonic action, and that helped him stay engaged with brushing for the full two minutes that dentists recommend. He wasn't the only one who enjoyed it, as anything that makes part of our bedtime routine easier is a welcome addition in our family. One possible downside is that kids with sensory sensitivities might find the sonic action to be a bit too intense. So that might weigh in the balance when considering this product. Overall, the quip kids sonic battery toothbrush is likely to be a sleek, easy, and effective addition to your child's morning and nighttime routine.

I would not say that the design of the toothbrush is not super kid friendly. Maybe more for older kids. It's very simple, almost adult like. My son did very much like the fact that it comes with the folder. He did enjoy brushing his teeth with the new toothbrush and seems engaged the whole 2 minutes with doing it. I love that I don't have to time my son and he knows that he is done only when the toothbrush turns off automatically. Takes a lot headache out for parents. He likes that it was a vibrating toothbrush instead of the ones where just the head spins. Quip toothbrush cleaned his teeth much better than the regular electric toothbrush in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing panel, my 7-year-old son was able to try out the quip Kids Sonic Battery Toothbrush. He can go through the motions of brushing his teeth on his own, but he still needs a parent's supervision to get the job done right. Typically, when brushing his teeth with a manual toothbrush, he puts in minimal effort or asks someone to do it for him (and we usually oblige him). My son loves electronics and was immediately excited to give his new quip toothbrush a whirl. We both thought its color was fun (we got a yellow one) and it seemed like a good size for him, though I wished it had been a little easier to grip. The built-in 2-minute timer and 30-second pulses made it easy to coordinate my son brushing independently with my supervision; he would let me know when there was a minute left at which point I would take over. He also loved the series of pulses at the end (I told him it was the toothbrush clapping for a job well done). The only thing that I found a bit disappointing about this product was that the sticker on the toothbrush mount barely stuck to the wall we mounted it on, and the mount is fairly unstable on its own. We also tried to take the toothbrush head off to figure out how to replace it and change the batteries, but so far we haven't succeeded. Overall, though, this toothbrush was fun for my son to use, got him brushing his teeth for longer (and probably a bit more effectively), and helped me be more efficient with my time as well!

I love how simple the design is of this toothbrush, it makes it super easy to store and travel with since it is thin like a manual toothbrush. I also love how there is only a single button for on/off to make it more user friendly for kids. Another great thing about this toothbrush is that it is whisper quiet when it's on, unlike several other electric toothbrushes that we have tried. The built in timer makes it foolproof for kids to make sure they are brushing long enough. My 4 year old son loves using this and looks forward to brushing his teeth because he's able to use it on his own without much assistance. He gets excited to show me how clean his teeth are after he is done brushing. I also love that the container it arrived in is multi functional, it can be used to enclose it for traveling, and also has a sticky side when the top is off so that you can stick it to your wall or mirror for storage. I definitely recommend this toothbrush for anyone with young kids because it not only gets them excited about brushing, but does a great job cleaning their teeth.

The first time she used it she said “I feel like such a grown-up!” She loves having a toothbrush that works like mom and dad's and I'm a fan of anything that gets her excited to brush! My favorite feature by-far is the reusable mount that I could stick to her bathroom mirror. My daughter's bathroom only has a small pedestal sink with zero counter space. Her toothbrushes previously would end up getting knocked onto the floor or into the sink (ew!) so being able to mount it securely on her mirror has been a game-changer. It's so much more sanitary this way! This is the perfect toothbrush for someone with little counter space. Thanks to the Stellar Product Panel for providing me with this toothbrush!
