This is to prevent the ship from getting lost. Multi-directional spins -- since it is a dual prop vehicle, the ship can spin in a stationary position. Unlike other single haul ship, its does not require large turning radius to change its direction. The direction can change less than a few seconds. Requires 9.6-volt NiCd rechargeable battery (with charger) and 9-volt alkaline battery for the remote (not included) The only difference between the 27 MHz and the 49 MHz ship is the frequency. If you're planning on purchasing two, make sure they are different frequencies, so they will not interfere with each other.
