Rally Tyro 2 Pro Pickleball Paddle (Single Paddle - Fire Orange)

This seems to be a good all purpose paddle. I am very new to the sport. I am getting used to how to play and the paddle seems to have good feel and response. I highly suggest that even first time players get a composite paddle and skip the cheap wood versions. Just my opinion.

I bought these and a set of the niopipo (can't spell) for my family of 4. I much prefer these, and played with them for many months while deciding what "expensive" paddle to get. It's a great all around paddle, and its the one i lend out frequently (i own 4 of these now) and use as a backup when needed. I just had my brother buy a set of 2 as he's getting into the sport too. Its the right place to start, will last you a while as you learn and develop your stroke and understand what you need. Its far superior to other similarly priced paddles. Its really a great value. Also, can't recommend PickleballCentral highly enough. I managed to break my Tyro2 Pro Paddle at the handle, and they replaced it quickly and easily. A++ service from these folks, and i'll only buy paddles here now.

Recently I called Pickleball Central about a Rally Pro 2 Paddle that I had purchased about 2 years ago. The paddle was only used 4-5 times but had developed a wrinkle on one of the paddle faces. The warranty on the paddle had expired but I called customer service anyway and got ahold of Bernadette B. She had me submit a picture of the paddle and was able to authorize a brand new paddle to replace the old one. What a great company with great customer service!!

This brand was a complete unknown to me at the time of purchase, but it met all my criteria so I took a gamble and purchased it. I have used it for 3 weeks indoors and out, and it responds so well. It has bounce and power. I will continue to "talk it up" to my friends. BTW, I am not a pro, just intermediate recreational player, and this is my 3rd paddle. Love it.

I am a fan of the Rally paddles- price and performance. This is my third 9/16" or thicker paddle, and the best, especially at one-third the price of the others. This is probably my 15th or so paddle. (I give the others away to new players which is a win-win.) I like to see if my play gets improved via paddle or court sense. Court sense wins every time. I do not know if a paddle makes one's game better, but I do know a paddle can make one's game worse. Find a paddle you like and use it. I like the Rally paddles (I now have 4 -- different colors and grips).
