Rayovac Maximum - Battery 4 x C - alkaline - black, golden

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these batteries a few months ago and immediately put them in our smoke detectors. Smoke detectors are so important you really need a battery you can trust. These batteries have really worked great

I just replaced 6 batteries in smoke detectors in November. Here it is Dec 21 and at midnight, of course, one of them was chirping. Sadly I can't trust the rest of them now and will have to go with the actual recommended ones that are imprinted on the detectors themselves. I hadn't noticed that until I purchased the Rayovac ones as I use them in everything else.

These batteries seem to hold up well and have lasted a bit longer than others. Very pleased with them and will definitely be purchasing more later.
