Razor MX500 Dirt Rocket 36 Volt Electric Bike Motorcycle

Great Dirt Bike for an eager beginner. My son's confidence grew quickly as this Dirt Bike is both easy to ride and easy to handle. Much better quality than I anticipated. Charge holds longer than the 40 minutes anticipated (as stated on the website) and set-up/maintenance could not be easier for a single mom like myself. Very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend to others; I can see why this Dirt Bike is sold out in stores/online. After my husband assembled this dirt bike for my very excited son, he discovered there was an issue with the front brake. He had to contact Razor to have a new caliper shipped to us. That took about two months because the product was never shipped requiring us to follow up with them an open another ticket.

Fits in our RV perfect for our pipeline gypsy life!!! My 12 year old loves buzzing around on it. This is second one, the first one we purchased the chain snapped in 3 rides. The battery last lOng enough, he is bored before it dies. We also own the razor quad which seems to be a bit more durable, though the on off switch has a glitch after 2 mo.

First of all...don't expect a Honda or a Yamaha. This is a Chinese-made, inexpensive alternative. With that stated, I am very happy with the product. I followed the directions exactly, took my time to assemble it and adjust the controls to fit my son's riding position, charged it completely (overnight#, and it works GREAT! I have a 1/4-mile trail in my backyard and my son can do 10 laps at 10-15 mph without a significant drop in power. I am an avid motorcyclist so I was skeptical if it would work adequately, but I am pleasantly surprized. I recommend this for kids that are already VERY SKILLED riding a bicycle....and give them a few test runs down a slope without the switch on, so they can get used to the balance and the brakes #which work well and will lock up the wheels, if finesse is not used). PLease get your kids REAL motorcycle riding gear...Helmet, goggles, gloves, boots, chest protector. I would suggest going to a specialty online motorcycle superstore. Look in the clearance section. There is always deals on kids gear.

This Razor MX500 only worked for about fifteen minutes my grandson was on it. Very poor quality.
