RCA 2.5 cu ft Portable Washer w/ Your Choice of Iron or Garment Steamer

I gave this washer 5 stars because it really serves the purpose. Where I live the basement is creepy, my cat won't even go down there and likes to explore every thing. Back to the washer..it's big, deep tub for a 2.5 cu. It's high efficiency (HE) so has no agitator and basically just kind of swishes your clothes around gently..so gentl that I thought something was wrong at first. Towards the end it picks up the pace a bit. You have to use powder HE soap which bwas pretty easy to find in multiple brands and off-brands at Wal-Mart. I've had it a week and so far I've washed about 8-10 loads. It holds a reasonable size load, towels and all. I bought the Panda 3.75 larger capacity dryer from this site to go with it and adore it. Both were good purchases.

I read the reviews & was worried of issues & was so glad the washing machine was exactly what I wanted & needed in my life . I did have to buy the two additional parts totaling to about $6 bucks at home-depo. I bought the y Connector to allow hot & cold to run through the hoses & a screw (wrong verbish.. I'm a girl my, dad helped) to hook my sink faucet to the washing machine, like I said both totaling to $6 bucks. The spin cycle is amazing I feel I really dnt need a dryer, the machine has a spin cycle option after washing is complete that goes up to a hour & gets all the water out of the clothes. I'm 33 years old so the moving part is not a big issue for me at this time, it rolls just fine on the two back wheels for me but a roller stand will be in the future. Clothes are very clean the machine is quit big and deep I washed a full size comforter with the spin cycle at the end and was amazed how clean and dry it was. The machine is very quite and fits great in the corner of my kitchen. I did have a dent on the front of my machine which I saw in other reviews but very small, has noting to do with the function of the machine so I will let that go. overall great machine and no more laundry mats for me.

I love it, it's portable, it hooks up in seconds. I've had this RCA washer about 2years now. I'm looking for the dolly for it to sit on since I no longer have storage space in my tiny kitchen. I wish it had 4 wheels instead of just the 2 back wheels. I don't care for the buzzer noise when the cycle ends. I'm happy with it, I've definitely gotten my moneys worth even if it stopped working today.

I bought this machine 2 weeks ago and have done about 15 loads! We are a family with 2 kids and recently moved to an apartment with no hookups from a house with a full washer and dryer. I did a ton of research online. The all in one machines were out of my price range so I decided to try a portable machine. I was hesitant to purchase this machine but am beyond happy I did. I was worried it would come damaged like some reviews I had read, it came with a tiny ding on the bottom side but it is hardly noticeable and does not impact the functionality. It is extremely quiet which is important since i am on the 2 nd floor. The spin cycle works so well the clothes are just damp when they come out. My clothes are cleaner than they were with my traditional machine! The quick connect makes it really easy to hook up to the faucet and I can do a decent size load with no problems. The only drawback is trying to move it. The wheels are on the back, bottom edge of the machine and it is a little heavy to lean back. So it may be difficult for someone with little strength to maneuver. It is also a large machine, so if you are tight on space this may not be the unit for you. The ease and convenience have taken the stress and dread away from having to go to the laundry mat!

I received my washer on the 3rd of June. So far I have done 3 loads of wash. I love it! It holds more than I thought it would. Clothes come out clean and the spin cycle does a wonderful job. The only thing I would suggest is to tape down the drain hose. Mine came out of the sink and went all over my kitchen floor. This was no fault of the machine. I am single and live in a small apartment. It fits perfect in my kitchen. I would tell all my friends if they needed a small washer this is the one to get. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.
