For 20 dollars more I should have gotten the sony... even for 40 bucks there should have been more thought put into this... No inner lighting to read selction or radio stations, very stubborn buttons push and push, sometiems having to power off and on to get what you want. I bought this as a gift for someone, to late to bring back what a waste... I would say I got what I payed for but for 40 I should have gotten more for a small boom box...

I thought this would be okay after reading other reviews, but I was disappointed. Having to push in the c.d. tray meant that it didnt close tightly, and when we played a c.d. it kept cutting out or skipping. the c.d. played on other players, so i know it was the player. it just seemed kind of cheesy overall. I'm going to try the sony player and see how that goes.

Don't like that you manually have to push the cd tray in. Don't like that you have to push the on/off button three or four times to turn the radio off. And don't like that when you want the radio on, you need to push the on/off button then the volumn button. But it is a good product. Use it everyday...

I bought this for use in my office. It runs pretty much all day long Monday through Friday. It has great sound at the lower volumes, which some similar products lack. I mainly use the CD feature, but have used the tape here and there. The radio does pick up more stations than my last one did, but it is still difficult to get good reception all the time in our building. It has a good amount of options/features - not too many, not too few. The only things I don't like are that you have to push the power button to change from radio to tape to Cd to off. So every morning, I have to hit the button 3 times to get to the CD function. Not a big deal, but could definitely be improved. The other issue being that you have to manually push the CD tray in after loading. It seems a little odd in this day and age. I would still definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for a good value on a portable CD player. I spent $30 and use it every day - not bad.

I bought my radio radio about a week ago, and you get what you pay for. The sound is great and I really like my new purchase. However, I have an issue with the radio. Although the radio is equipped with preset stations, and its fairly easy to program, everytime you unplug the radio, those preset stations reset themselves to the factory preset stations. As a portable radio, you shouldnt have to set the preset stations all the time. Everything else seems to be in great working order and Im not going to return it, as I bought it mostly for the CD player. Its a good little radio for the price I paid for it.
