RP5405 Clock Radio

This was purchased for our 10-yr old to help her get used to waking herself in the morning. She was delighted, but I recently noticed that not all of the digit parts are lit (ie. you can't tell a 2 from a 5). When I mentioned it to my daughter, she said it has been that way since she first plugged it in 2 months ago! I am hoping I will be able to return it as I have the box....

This alarm clock definitely does the job for the price. It is very easy to use, has a large display of the time, and the alarm is very loud. Overall a great value for the price. I just don't understand why Walmart won't carry these better quality products in the store. . . .

For the price, it is an excelent value. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't sound like a hundred dollar radio. I did learn that the power cord should not be wadded up. it says in the instructions to stretch the powert cord out and it did improve the reception a lot. I would but it again.

This RCA AM/FM clock with radio has the basic features that we're looking for in a simple digital alarm clock with AM/FM radio. It's powered either by plugging into the wall outlet or with AA batteries. It has a green color digital display, nice and clear. We've been looking around and we found no other models can beat its price under $10.

priced good. what I don't like most about it is the numbers are small compared to my old digital alarm clock. A dual alarm clock would be nice, too, but that's probably asking too much. Manual volume dial doesn't work all that great, not too sensitive too finer adjustments.
