Reach Dentotape Extra Wide Waxed Dental Floss, Unflavored, 100 Yards

I love this floss. It is a wide floss so it cleans in between the teeth better than thin floss. If you have tight contacts it will make it more of a challenge to get in and out of the teeth, but it's worth it. I use this on my patients and myself. It is very hard to break this floss, which is a plus.

This is NOT a dental TAPE! It is a very thin dental floss that is heavily coated in wax. It IS a a struggle to get it between teeth that are very close together, which I think is due to the heavy coat of wax. However, I wanted it for an implant that fits tight against the neighboring teeth but has a huge space up near the gum that regular floss doesn't adequately remove lodged food from. This “tape” seems to do a better job of getting that stuff out, again, I believe, because of the sticky wax texture. I called Johnson and Johnson to give feedback about this and found out that they sold their dental floss line to another company called LG Household

I really love this floss. It's a replacement to a floss they discontinued listerine gentle gum care floss. I had a hard time finding a new floss that I liked. This one feels really good massaging below the gum line. It's a bit girthy so its not easy to cut yourself with it.

I don't know that I would call it extra wide but it is thicker than floss. I have to make sure that I get a long enough piece when using so it doesn't get stuck. Even though it's supposed to be waxed it does not slide through the teeth unless you really have wide spaced teeth.

I have been using this brand for a while, but this time I found it is too thick, it is hard to go in between my teeth. I don't know if this particular item was defective or if this the way they are producing them now. I will think twice before purchase this product again.
