Plant and animal life is unique to each area in the world because of the diversity among land regions. We must learn about and value what each part of our world has to offer. Through studying about the various habitats found on Earth we can develop an understanding and appreciation for the diversity that surrounds us. By doing this we can begin to learn how to prevent further endangerment, or even extinction of certain species. By viewing the video and discussing the concepts presented, children will enhance their knowledge about the the habitats found on Earth.
