Every day we depend on some type of machine, whether it is a complex machine such as a computer, or a simple machine like a knife. Often times we don't even realize that a tool we are using is a machine. Simple machines are those that have few or no moving parts. Because of their commonality, they are prevalent in our daily lives. The video program, "Simple Machines", not only explains some basic laws of motion, but presents each of the six simple machines by describing how it works and giving multiple real life examples of its use.
