It is an excellent choice even for beginners like myself! It has numerous stitch options, comes with several feet, it has needles, bobbins, and button hole feet and zipper foot. I love the auto fill bobbin option it has. It has about 100 built in stitch options which is amazing! Best brand ever Thank You very much...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great sewing machine for beginners. Prior to using this model, I used the Brother XM2701 which is also an excellent machine for beginners. I love that the CE1125PRW gives you such a variety of stitching options. The LCD screen is easy to read and use and it is extremely helpful that it tells you exactly which foot you need for the stitch that you select. Changing the foot is quite easy, and the instruction manual is clear about how to change them. Threading the machine is easy as well, there is a guide on the machine as well as a section in the instruction manual, but if you still have trouble, I recommend looking for a video online showing you how to do it. There is a light, which is great when working in low light rooms. Everything about this machine is straight forward and easy to understand. This is the perfect machine for all my basic sewing needs.

This sewing machine is beginner-friendly, low price, as well but has enough versatility that you'll be able to “grow” into it as your skills expand. Easy to set up with online videos I found. Make sure you only use brother spools and needles to save you from any compatibility issues.

I have made a few quilts and bears on this machine. It serves my purpose and I love the ease of use. I just purchased a Brother Pacemaker PS 500 because I like quality and do a lot of quilting. Brother never failed me. this is my 5th Brother.
