I used this product to weed whack and edge around drive, fencing, garden areas in a residential 3/4 acre lot. I was impressed by the easy start up and ease of use. Versatile in both traditional use and edging. Easily handled all areas and trimmed larger weeds with ease which my last edger struggled with, particularly down by the street where the ground is sloped. Would estimate this edger saved me about 25% in time subsequently. My only negatives would be that the air filter kept falling out during routine use and it seemed to eat through the trim line pretty quickly, faster than I would have expected based on use of other products. I've been using the Remington Rustler weed trimmer for several weeks. The packaging was simple to breakdown and the assembly of the weed trimmer was fast and intuitive. The directions were very easy to follow. This is a gas powered weed trimmer and the power was more than enough and much better than electrical models. The Rustler was easy to start and ran perfectly. I used it for my moderately sized yard of about a 1/4 acre to cut back weeks on the hedge as well as cutting and edge between the driveway/sidewalks and the grass of the yard. The nylon cutting cord was heavy duty and selfcutting and advancing. The cutting cord feed worked much better than other week trimmers I have used. I am very satisfied with my Remington RM2560 RUSTLER. This machine is better than others I have used because it's got good power for my yard, plus it's light weight and easy to use. This trimmer is very balanced, which makes using it not as fatiguing on my arms, which is a plus because I have a pretty good sized yard. I had never heard of this product before trying it, but after using it to maintain my yard a few times, I would definitely buy it. I attempted to use the Rustler, however it was very difficult to start. It would only run for a couple of minutes at a time. When it did run, it worked well but just could not get it to keep running. I tried to check the spark plug to find out why it would not keep running and the spark plug wire came apart. It may have been a problem with this one. It did work well when it would run. So, I have a fairly large yard that has a lot of flower beds, edging, sidewalks, trees, etc. This makes just mowing over everything quite difficult. Enter the Remington RM2560 RUSTLER! This wonderful piece of machinery made short work of trimming around everything even for my short (5' 2" female) height. I didn't have to struggle to start it. I love that it is designed to be easy to feed more line through the head with just a bump. I have had several different brands of trimmers over the years, but this Remington has been my favorite of them all! In fact, everyone in the family has been able to use it with ease.
