Remington Protect & Straight S2044 - Straightener

I bought this about six months ago. It worked amazing for awhile. I plugged it in a few days ago and it made a loud squeaking sound so I unplugged it. I plugged it back in and the sound continued. I did my hair anyway and the sound seemed to stop. Now, the heat does not get hot enough. Not good for long term but good for the price I paid.

Although I was devastated when I broke my old straightener... I LOVE THIS STRAIGHTENER!!! It works great. I used it once so far. It doesn't damage your hair or frizz it! You run it through your hair once and it is pin straight. When your done your hair is soft and silky. I used this once and I loved the results. You should SO buy it.

IT WAS ALSO VERY EASY TO PICK UP AT THE STORE AND ACTUALLY CAME IN A WEEK EARLY!

I was looking for something that worked like the "professional" straighteners out there, but didn't cost $100 or more. This worked great on my hair, which is straight/wavy and moderately thick. The hair feels soft and shiny. I used a heat-protection product, too, which seems like a good idea no matter what kind of straightener you use. You can even twist it at the end to make a slight curl, and it works great.

I was hesitant to buy this Teflon product, thinking that it wouldn't work well. However, I've had it for nearly 6 months and I love it. I has a nice lock feature and heats up so quickly. I use a lot of product on my hair, but the surface stays very clean and very hot! Great product for a great price!
