This was ideal for smaller branches and even capable of somewhat larger ones also. Zipped right through them. Did a great job for what I wanted it to do.

Works really good for the price. Takes a strong hand to operate though which is good if you want to make sure kids stay away but a single mom MAY be challanged.

I received Model RM1425 which is the newer model from Remington. This version has several differences and bad reviews about the chain tension getting loose all the time. I chose to order the earlier Model 41AZ52AG983 as pictured from Walmart specifically because of these differences and bad reviews. Not happy that a different Model was substituted. The RM1425 may well be a good value for the money, but it is not what I ordered.

This chainsaw cuts as good as my gas saw and you don't have to get frustrated trying to start it! It is just the right one for squaring up those logs that were either too crookedly cut or too long for your wood splitter to handle that you stacked by your garage or shed. It is powerful, but somewhat noisy, so due to the need for ear muffs, that is why it didn't get a 5 rating. Amazing quality for this price! And it arrived sooner than I expected.

This chainsaw is awesome its the second Remington I have owned and even better than the first 10 ins version. I have just tackled a 50ft Pecan with ease with this mighty mouse. No reservations in recommending to anyone. suggest the 2 year warranty is also taken - just in case,
