Restored Beats Studio Over-the-Ear Headphones, Black (Refurbished)

I was so excited to get my son a pair of Beats as a surprise Christmas gift (I always told him I'd NEVER spend that much money on some headphones). I found these refurbished Beats for a fraction of the cost and got them .... imagine my disappointment when he tried them on Christmas morning and they didn't work ... I felt horrible. I didn't realize until I was getting ready to return them and write a bad review that they needed batteries - 2 AAA batteries and they work perfect! Mine came in a cardboard box inside the carrying case with only the Beats and cord and no instructions (I didn't think I'd ever need instructions for headphones), my only recommendation would be for WalMart to prominently note inside the package that batteries are required, although I believe it notes that on the product page when you're purchasing it, but I bought mine a month before Christmas and totally forgot. I hope that some of you who are having difficulties find this helpful! I know the reviews I read that stated they required batteries totally helped me and now my son is so excited!

Barely any sound at all. Very disappointed as I'd hoped Wal-Mart was a reputable dealer.

Bought for my daughter for xmas, opened and unable to use because... there is NO charging port on them. Idk what they did when they "refurbished ", but they screwed it up and ruined a christmas.

IThese were a gift for my boyfriend. He opened them Christmas morning and was very excited about giving them a try. We plugged them in and low and behold they don't work. We tried plugging them into a computer and a phone and still no noise came out. I will not be purchasing any electronics from Walmart ever again. I should have known better than to buy refurbished from Walmart.
