Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain - Adore

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product really does leave a lasting stain on your lips with a light shine. When the shine wears off, the colour stays. A word of advice, don't trust the lip packaging for the colour. The colour on the tube is going to look completely different as a lip stain as it combines with the colour of your lips. I love how you can just twist the tube rather than having to sharpen it and the peppermint gives a nice tingle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to purchase another Revlon balm after great success with the Revlon matte stain balm (Sultry). I had read a lot of reviews and looked at a lot of swatches before deciding to purchase the colour Honey. Initially I had my doubts, as it looks a bit light when swatched, and I have medium-toned skin (Chinese background), however once I put it on my lips I was pleasantly surprised! Honey is the perfect colour for everyday use, and I like that it gives a hint of colour without being too dramatic. It feels really moisturising and so I feel like I can use it as a lip balm rather than considering it as a 'lipstick' product. The balm does not feel drying and it lasts a relatively long time (without eating/drinking), and it does not settle into fine lines in my lips either. It doesn't have as strong a mint sensation as the matte balms, but still feels quite moisturising. Definitely recommend this balm if you are looking to try the Revlon balms for the first time, or if you want to purchase another colour!

Pros: Moisturising for dry lips - I have very dry lips Sheer colour for more casual look Cons: Lasts about half an hour! Worse than most lipsticks. Colour is not buildable. Ends up making a weird line of colour outside your lips. Won't repurchase. I use the Savvy lip stains which are fantastic! Try those instead :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought I would love this product as much as I do. This has replaced my Baby Lips Lip Balms and for good reason. I have this in the shade 001 Honey which is a gorgeous natural pink shade. When applying this to the lips, it gives a tingly and cool feeling and smells quite minty. I actually notice that it not only adds a gorgeous flush of colour to the lips, but also makes them look a bit more plumped! It has pretty great longevity and I don't need to re-apply too much as my lips stay pretty much soft, hydrated, and tinted for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this balm in the shade Romantic and I really like it. It's one of the most comfortable stains I've ever tried. It applies like a lip balm but the colour and wear is so much better! The shade I have is a subtle red with a slight glimmer. It looks beautiful on, I usually use it when I do a simple cat eye and it looks "done" but still daytime appropriate. It is very comfortable, you can't feel it at all. It lasts ages, I can go for hours without needing to touch it up. Another thing I love is the packaging, it's so handy to have it in a crayon design, I can touch up my lips without a mirror! A little goes a long way, and my tube has lasted me a long time. It's very easy to remove at the end of the day with a makeup wipe or liquid remover. Love this product and highly recommend!
