Richell Freestanding HL Pet Gate, Brown

The Richell Freestanding HL gate is handsome and substantial. It is made of an amber-colored solid wood with black metal grating. The gate's legs are relatively long (11"), which means it is unlikely to be tipped over. Unless your dog uses the grating for a foothold for climbing over the gate, the gate will confine a small or medium size dog. Some negatives: - You'll need a screwdriver for four screws to adjust the width of the gate. - The end panels fold in so the whole thing is relatively flat. (We stow it behind a sofa when not in use.) However, when you want to open the end panels again, you need extra space so the legs that are in line with the end panels can swing into position. I'm happy with my purchase.

Solid and well crafted with simple assembly. Blends well with the furnishings.

The Pet Gate was exactly as expected. The computer indicated it would be delivered 8/12/2016, it was actually delivered 8/13/2016 a day later than predicited. I was not in a hurry so it worked out just fine. It expands and protects the animals from entering my dining room and serves it purpose.

This product is amazing. Well constructed, attractive, nicely finished, easy to assemble. It came double packaged so it couldn't get damage in transit. We now have two of these and can move them around to keep our dogs in the rooms they should be when we are gone.

Bought for an open stairway, so the side flaps that wrap around are great. Very square & true. I was worried it might be wobbly or not fit together well. It's not especially heavy, which is nice because we have to move it out of the way to get past it, but it's plenty study enough for a mid-size dog.
