This product works very well for me . When cooking Roast pork, I used a meat thermomerter. and I added 1/3 cup of water at base insure moisture and dripping doesn't stick to base. makes it easier to clean.

I have cooked ribs , whole chickens , and a pot roast in my cooker. all were well received by family members. The ribs were moist and tender. I have done country and baby back ribs with great results on both. I have the 100 and wish it came with the flat rack as the 200 does for the bottom of the pot. I found that if you use wood sticks cut to hold the baby back ribs up on the rack they will not fall into the beer in the bottom. Also two sets of tongs help to get the ribs out of the rack.

Make sure you use Pam to help with the cleaning. I then seasoned 2 slabs of ribs and put on rack. Seasoned a small pork loin and put on top of the ribs. Cooked on low for about 6 hrs and then put barbecue sauce over all that. (Like all the new crock pots it cooks at a higher heat now and some things don't need to cook a full 8 hrs.) I then checked a couple of times about every 1/2 hr. until ribs were fork tender. Ribs were restaurant quality. Very good. Just like cooking on a grill outside. Clean up is kind of difficult, but is no different than a regular crock pot with food cooked on. My sink is kind of small so I put the insert in a tub to soak in dish soap. After soaking didn't have to much difficulty cleaning. The only bad thing is it's kind of large for storing. Mine sits on a small microwave cart.

When we got this, I thought we had a good deal, but it does not do too good for us.
