Rival FD350S - Fondue pot - 4.2 qt - polished stainless steel

My parents have the same product. I really liked it when we used it on my last visit. It cleans up very easily even though we made cheese fondue in it. The magnetic temperature controller is a great feature because it disconnects quickly from the unit without pulling the whole pot of fondue over. The only things I didn't like about it was the cord is very short and the instructions say not to use an extension cord. I had been pricing the product elsewhere for at least $20 more. Walmart gives you value for a great price.

I actually really love this Fondue pot. It gets super hot and it keeps your fondue at a consistent temperature. It is beautifully designed and really easy to use. The only thing I didn't like about it was the fragility of the power cable. It falls off easily and its super short, but if you get an extension cord and avoid messing with the power strip, this fondue set is perfect. It really is a great product. I'm thinking about getting another one for larger dinner parties. Oh yea! it was way bigger than i ever expected it to be i didn't know how big 3.5 qt. really was till i saw it. I was very satisfied, for that price.

The photo does not do it justice. It is a very LARGE fondue set. You can easily put enough ingredients to feed 8 people. It is so big that I would not recommend it for a chocolate fondue for 2 people since you'll have WAY too much chocolate left over (although this is not always a bad thing). Made of stainless steel and you can control the temperature so it's also good for oil fondue cooking. The only downside is that when washing, you have to be careful not to get the contacts wet and you can not soak it in the sink. But that being a small issue, this is a GREAT fondue set!

This product is excellently priced and is great for temperature control, the amount of product that can be placed in it and accessories. The fondu forks with holders are great! I also liked this product because most fondu fountains do not run properly after the initial use, but this fondu pot is great for cleaning and is a wonderful attribute to my "girls night"!

I have owned one of these for well over a year and needed a second one for a large dinner party so that there would be one at each end of the table. You can use this pot for more than just fondue...hot dips, soups, anything you want to keep hot. The temps. are true to the dial and very consistant. Super easy to clean and the one that I've had for a year and used often looks just as new as the one I just purchased. Walmart had this pot at the lowest price of about 10 websites that I checked!
