This time it?s Singapore, and the scenery gets steamy with the addition of Dorothy Lamour as the beautiful live-in housekeeper they bring home. When junior shipping mogul Josh Mallon (Crosby) comes too close to getting hitched, he and his best buddy Ace Lannigan (Hope) run to the furthest point they can find on a map ? Singapore. On one of their pub-crawls, they discover Mima, Lamour, who is being tormented by her bullwhip-toting dance partner. They rescue her and she becomes their co-habitating caretaker. All is fine until Josh and Ace both fall for Mima, but in the end good friends and true love find their way home. The success of "Road To Singapore" inspired the fun-loving duo?s return in what are now some of the best-loved films ever created.
