I got this product two years ago for Christmas. When I got it the product was much less expensive. I Love it. It only has one problem. It has a hard time playing CD's in cold weather; everything else works fine though. Once your vehicle warms up it does great.

I was surprised at the great price and fine quality of this product- So far, I have not experienced anything bad about it- I have many songs on my memory card and flashdrive! Also, the separate installation card I purchased with it worked out great too!

I have an older Jeep and was having problems finding a cd/radio that would not skip. This product answered my prayers. The memory card and USB work great, no skipping at all because it is solid state, however recently I have been playing just the CD in my normal routes and haven't been able to get it to skip yet. Easy to install, and sound great.

I installed this unit about six months ago to replace another aftermarket car stereo that stopped working in my 95 Mazda Protégé. The unit fit easily into the after market bracket. It was about a half inch longer than the previous unit, but moving a few wires around allowed a good fit. I used a connector kit which came with wire nuts to connect the unit. A few of the wires were a little different from the way the old unit had been hooked up, but I just followed the manual and it worked out fine. The manual could use a bit more detail though. The AM/FM radio works good, lots of memory positions on both AM and FM. I have also played regular as well as mp3 CD’s in the unit. Using mp3 format, I find I can put around 200 songs on a CD. But this will vary based on length of song and compression used. The aux in port works good with all sorts of audio devices. Have used a palm pilot, several different MP3 players, and a computer (make sure to turn the volume down on the computer before hooking it in though). What is really good about this unit is the USB port and SD Card slot, something one would think all manufactures would be equipping their stereos with nowadays. I have gotten around 500 mp3’s on a 1 GB device. One annoyance is that there is no way to default to clock view, something most factory installed unit will do. Many might also consider it somewhat underpowered, and it does distort a little at the upper volume ranges. If you are not a high end audiophile and just need a cheap versatile car stereo with decent sound, this is the unit. I have yet to have a single problem with it.
