Rock Band Special Edition (Wii), Harmonix

The guitar is a little beefier than our comparable Guitar Hero model. Setup was straightforward. We had a little trouble getting the game to pick up when the pedal for the drum set was pressed, and determined it may be our carpeted floors. That said, being able to get the whole family playing together is loads of fun. Haven't used the game disc- my little ones aren't ready for some of the bands and lyrics yet.

Our whole family loves this game. We laugh our heads off and have a great time together. We are old codgers who didn't know a lot of the new songs, and we play with our "kids" who are in their 20's, 30's and late teens. Our band rocks Rock Band! Santa brought the Beatles' game- and we are having a blast with it, too.

RB2 has been lots of fun in our Family, from age 6 to 56. The older folks would have liked a few more 'classic' rock and roll tunes in the 'easier' categories, as we do not recognize many of the songs or artists from the past 10 years. But having fun with them anyway.

I bought this for my mom's 51st birthday. Until this purchase she used her Wii for Wii Fit only. My mom loves this and so do her grandchildren from ages 5-15.

This game is SO fun. The songs are great. You can choose to sing, play drums, or guitar. My family just loves to rock out. This is just an added pleasure of spending time together. During the week everyone's schedule is hectic but on the weekend this is a nice way to unwine and ROCK!!!! FUN FUN FUN.
