i purchased the Roku Streaming Device for my mother in love and it arrived promptly as promised. It was very reasonably priced and i was ankle too get it installed and her watching streaming services in just minutes. Will definitely purchase again, just to keep a spare.
This was an item that was returned to the store then the box taped across the bottom! Who ever pulled the item for my order should have checked the item. The item was missing several things: chargers cord, batteries, booklet. Also upon set up the customer who originally purchased the item then returned it had their account %26 card information still registered to the Roku account! I had to go in %26 hard reset the device back to factory settings before I could even use it.
Works as described. Just had to figure out interference from 2 rokus in 2 different rooms across a hallway, room that were controlling each other. We moved door of 1 room to block the roku device in 2 room. Works great. Good support when we called tech support to get assistance.
Easy setup, works great, looks old. If you're old enough to remember the tv guide channel, its quality looks like that. I take this with me to hotels when I travel. I recommend a universal remote as well because some of these dumb hotel remotes don't have an input button, and some tv's don't have buttons at all.
Very difficult to set up. The express remote does not have volume buttons on the side. After spending hours in settings and watching tutorials (lots of people are having the same issue) I ended up having to buy a new universal remote to sync my tv/cable system. Theres a reason why the roku express is still on shelves
