I bought this blanket to donate to a group that was providing blankets for the homeless. This blanket can be used outside and provides protection from the elements. I can feel confident the recipient will be protected.

Great Blanket, reminds me of the army days. Keeps you warm. I gave my blanket away to a freezing woman stuck in her vehicle during the recent blizzard in Buffalo. I am buying another one.

Has a terrible 'dry cleaning fluid' smell that won't come out when 'airing' it out on clothes line. TOO STRONG to sleep with! WHY are they 'dry cleaning' a 'NEW' item....doesn't make sense?? RETURNING IT!!

This blanket is soaked in some kind of nasty chemicals and absorbs moisture when used outside. I now have a white crystal mess to clean up on my deck under where it hung to dry. It's going to the trash.
