Royal Canin Feline Health Nutrition Aroma Selective Dry Cat Food, 6 lb

My Burmese had to have his teeth removed a year ago after losing his long battle with gum disease (he just turned 11 and has many healthy years left). This has been a challenge because he has to be the pickiest eater alive. He was not happy with 95% of the canned food on the market and dry was almost impossible. Then I discovered that hos sense of smell was not being satisfied as well as his taste and need to feel full longer. I discovered that crushing this favorite of his was a perfect way of allowing him to enjoy eating again and he wont eat any other food without this at least mixed in. There is no direct solutions available for cats without teeth (a lot if dental ones for cleaning though) and this is exactly what he needs. His smell is helping him enjoy his food again. Thank you! I have two very picky eaters, sure they would eat their dry food but not like this, I am on my 4th bag of this food and my cats love it, it also helps with the smell on their bowel movements, so much better, if you are looking for a cat food for you picky eater you need to try this food. My cat has always been finicky and he stays on the slim side. When he became very ill a year ago he would not eat anything. I knew he had liked this food when I had to feed it to one of my older cats who would not eat regular dry. So I started him on this again and he gained back all his weight. Now I alternate between this and the high protien dry. The only improvement would be to make the kibble smaller for those tiny Burmese teeth. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We have a cat with stomatitis. He has had full mouth extractions and cycles through bouts of pain that we're controlling with meds. Sometimes he's starving, sometimes he wants nothing and we need to keep his weight up. Up until now, he would not eat dry food. He has some feral tendencies too so he sometimes is distrustful of what I give him. He loves this stuff! I ran out so I put another dry food in his "special" food bowl (I don't feed this to the other cats) and he gave me a dirty look. It's working for us, which is a relief. He mostly gets canned food for the moisture though I had heard sometimes stomatitis cats will eat dry food. This helps tons - especially when I'm at work and can't always give him fresh canned food!
