STAY AWAY! New formula is horrible. Our Bernese was on this for 2.5 years with no issues for IBD. He started chewing crazy hotspots and was living in a cone and taking Benadryl daily. Stumbled upon the reviews and I'm appalled. Switched to Farminia prescription hydrolyzed and he has not chewed or needed Benadryl once. Why would you make such an awful change to a prescription diet? Now I'm stuck with 2 25.3lb bags of this garbage. All the comments from the company show no signs of fixing the diet or helping anyone with solutions. I will never ever recommend this brand

I am yet another pet owner who realized the months of issues my dog has been having are because they changed the formula of his prescription food without any warning. He's been vomiting, losing weight, and dealing with skin and ear infections he's never had before. After several unhelpful vet visits, I stumbled upon these reviews on accident. I am livid. How many dogs are suffering right now? How many owners are spending their hard earned money trying to figure out the problem you caused? Despicable. The entire purpose of this food is to help dogs on this specific, medically necessary diet. This "new formula" you package as though it is the original isn't safe for the dogs you are supposedly making it for. What even is the purpose of this "new" product? Bring back the safe, helpful product or stop selling it to people who's pets it will make sick.

We have been giving this to our female boxer for two years. It was a lifesavor in the beginning but has completely ruined my dog. She has hives all over her body there are days where she will not eat her food. I am so disappointed and frustrated that no one was made aware.

Yorkshire Terrier was having issues with diarrhea starting around 1 year old switched to royal canin HP dry dog food and he's not had an issue since. A little pricy but you know its good food and well worth the extra money.. Plus his coat is perfect and teeth are cavity free at 8 years old.. todays his b-day. 5/7/17 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My pup's name is Rahj, he's a rescue, and he suffered from severe allergies. I tried everything from organic, to rice and venison, to the most expensive dog food at the store. Nothing worked. Then the vet prescribed RC HP. Within a few weeks his tummy issues were resolved and his coat was shiny and healthy too. And he likes the food :) Thank you for saving my pup from a life of misery (itching, vomiting, diarrhea, yes it was that bad all the time). Thanks again!
