Just had to take my dog to the emergency vet. Hives all over, explosive diarrhea and vomiting. From the sound of things in your most recent reviews I'm thinking a class-action lawsuit may be coming your way. “Sorry” isn't good enough. We purchased this food on the recommendation of our vet in good faith. Your actions are reprehensible and shameful.

just started the new recipe, 2 weeks of the HP & now she has is experiencing a horrible setback… spots on her face, massive hair loss, refusing to eat & intestinal issues. I'm taking her off it now, she is showing signs of pancreatitis. I wish I would've read these reviews instead of just taking my vets recommendation. What makes you think it's OK for you change the prescriptions ingredients, without notification to the patients or the doctors. And how dare you respond to people‘s concerns with a generic “We are very sorry for your experience”. What a slap in the face to the people that pay top dollar to do what they thought Was what was the best that they can for their pets, just so you can spend less money on ingredients and make more money off the patients family.

I am yet another pet owner who realized the months of issues my dog has been having are because they changed the formula of his prescription food without any warning. He's been vomiting, losing weight, and dealing with skin and ear infections he's never had before. After several unhelpful vet visits, I stumbled upon these reviews on accident. I am livid. How many dogs are suffering right now? How many owners are spending their hard earned money trying to figure out the problem you caused? Despicable. The entire purpose of this food is to help dogs on this specific, medically necessary diet. This "new formula" you package as though it is the original isn't safe for the dogs you are supposedly making it for. What even is the purpose of this "new" product? Bring back the safe, helpful product or stop selling it to people who's pets it will make sick.

We are also an unhappy user of the new formula. We had been getting the old formula from our vet. We switched to the new "yellowish" formula about a month ago when we repurchased a bag. Since then our dog has stopped eating the food as he used to do and when he does eat it, he vomits and has diarrhea. Our dog also broke out in a rash over his belly. A switch to another brand has reversed these problems

Yorkshire Terrier was having issues with diarrhea starting around 1 year old switched to royal canin HP dry dog food and he's not had an issue since. A little pricy but you know its good food and well worth the extra money.. Plus his coat is perfect and teeth are cavity free at 8 years old.. todays his b-day. 5/7/17 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
