I previously was feeding my Persian a different high end brand of kitten food. When my local pet store was out I decided to try the Royal canine bc I've heard good things about them. My Persian is 5 months I find the kibble to be a bit too small. I could definitely see this being absolutely perfect for a kitten being weaned from milk to kibble. But as for an older kitten, since we are advised to feed kitten food for the 1st year, I do think it's really really small for older kittens even for a Persians mouth.
My little exotic shorthair Persian has a sensitive tummy, and she's also a bit of a picky eater. She absolutely loves this food, wont touch anything else. She's gaining weight appropriately, her coat is gorgeous, and the kibble is just right for her mouth size. It's pricey, so I tried to supplement it with another food my breeder recommended, but she just leaves that and picks out the Royal Canin Persian Kitten kibbles. Ah, well. As long as she's happy and healthy!
I have a cat and a kitten. I experimented with different cat foods for them and Royal Canin is the one my cats chose and it suits their digestive system very well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Persian's have specific needs. I feel confident I am using the best product available for my cats. I have noticed less feces in litter as well as very little odor. The kitten and the year old cats coats are beautiful and they are very happy and healthy. The size of the kibble is perfect for their mouths and they both love it.
I started a breding program of Maine Coons 1 1.5 yr ago. I was told all kittens I purchased were on Science Diet kitten food wet and dry. I thought ok it is an average priced food and vets recommend it. The kittens were OK on it. I started showing my kittens at ACFA shows and wondered why my kittens didn't look as wonderful as the other cats. I was told 2 months ago to switch to Royal Canin and I took their advice!! I will Never switch back!! Their coat is fuller, shinier, less shedding, and their appetite is satisfied! They are excited to eat and love the taste. They have gained the right amount of weight( for MC's that is important). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
